All About Herbal Magic Canada

Herbal Magic Canada has programs for women, men and youth (ages 12-17). As well, they also have weight loss programs that are safe for diabetics as well as people who suffer from forms of heart disease. Before clients start the Herbal Magic program, they are put through a medical consultation to ensure that you are fit enough for the program. Most people can safely lose up to 2 pounds per week.

There are three phases to the Herbal Magic program:

Weight Loss Phase

In this phase, you will slowly start reducing your caloric intake. You will learn how to change your eating habits by using a food diary.

Stabilization Phase

During the six week stabilization phase, you will slowly build up your caloric intake and prepare to maintain your new eating regime.

Maintenance Phase

The length of the maintenance phase depends directly upon how much weight you lost in the first phase.

The Fine Print

There has been some criticism of the Herbal Magic program for being expensive and unclear in describing some of the more important prescriptions of the program. Back in 2010, the CBC's Marketplace consumer watchdog investigative program painted the company in pretty bad light. The main concern was the expense of the program and the unsubstantiated claims made in support of the two mandatory herbal supplements (WM-2000 and Chromagic) These two supplies cost roughly $250 per month over and above the $1000 per year contract that members must sign. See more about Herbal Magic at CBC.

With claims that they are the biggest weight loss company in Canada, something tells me that Weight Watchers may have a thing or two to say about that claim. Plus, Weight Watchers can boast that their cost for the online program is a quarter of the Herbal Magic program!
